I wanted to relay my feelings on my experience with the Basic School.
At first, I was apprehensive about taking a course over the Internet,
but I can definitely say that I have been pleased and feel greatly
rewarded by my training experience. I feel that you presented the

I think it is wonderful to be able to work at your own pace. There
isn’t really anything that I would change about the program.
It is handled very professionally. My goal for my new career is

The basic training program that you have provided for your students
is very thorough and self-explanatory. This is extremely important.
Since this is essentially a self-taught course, you need to understand
the information and instructions you are reading without relying
on a full-time teacher. I like the challenge that this presents.
It might take longer but this system makes you find the answers
yourself and that way you retain the information better. Of course,
if you are having a major problem it is comforting to know that
help is just an e-mail away.
I feel great about being in the Medical Transcription program. The
program has been really challenging. I am really looking forward
to getting started with transcribing patient records. So far, I’ve
learned a great deal about the medical field. My goal is to simply
be the best transcriptionist that you have.
The basic training program has been great. I felt supported by my
mentor, Anne, in that I felt I could ask her anything and she was
available to help. So therefore, I wouldn’t change anything
about the program.
I feel that the basic training program is perfect training program
for working folks like me.
I feel that the Basic Training program has taught me many of the
necessary skills I will need to know and use, to become a successful
transcriptionist. I feel I have learned the fundamental basics of
medical transcription and have learned how to use the many tools
available to me, to achieve a career, which will be satisfying for
me and my employer. I cannot recommend any changes to enhance the

that I have been studying have been very well written and easy to

I have found the course to be a great refresher of anatomy and physiology,
medical terminology and grammar. In addition, I have found the in-depth
training in Microsoft Word to be informative and challenging.
Using the knowledge and skills I have learned during this training
program, I plan to enter into Medical Transcription field upon completion.
My goals are to obtain employment and work out of my home.
I consider the training program as the backbone to my future career
in Medical Transcription. Its many benefits include learning the
basic skills I will need to perform this work successfully. I like
the books provided, especially the Medical Terminology book. I liked
the variety of reading, writing and listening skills provided in
that book. I enjoy the newsletters and the many comments others
